The success of the "Songs for Blue Guitar" album in 1997, and the "Retrospective" double CD on 4AD, has expanded Red House Painters' audience and underlined their importance and influence. The last album the band recorded for 4AD, "Ocean Beach," has been unavailable domestically since 1997. Now available, this reissue contains some of the classic tracks including "San Geronimo" and "Summer Dress."
