Hot on the heels of Jon's hypnotic remix of Four Tet's "Angel Echoes," Kieran Hebden here returns the favor, delivering his hardest uptempo offering for a while, a garage-tinged remix of "Vessel." Retaining all the beauty of the original but aligning it with the dancefloor, he builds clouds of euphoria over the original's slamming bass. The 12" is backed with a stamping freeform techno reworking of "Wire" from Border Community's Nathan Fake.
