Built on a bed of dreamy delay-laden guitars and innocent keyboard lines, led by Lisa Lobsinger's distinctive coo, RSR's 2003 debut EP turned heads across Canada. But the band separated in 2004: Lobsinger joined Broken Social Scene, while other RSR members earned degrees in math, art, and architecture. Inspired to make the album they were unable to make while together, they exchanged ideas via e-mail and the result is Reverie Sound Revue, an otherworldly exploration of pop music drenched in reverb and a soundtrack for zero-gravity.
