Currently living in Glasgow (Scotland), Richard Youngs is a highly versatile and experimental artist. He has been releasing and performing music since the early 80s, either solo or with a collaborator - and more recently as part of prog revivalists ILK. His work ranges from the affecting Sapphie (a lament for his dog) to the strange humor of Lake (recorded over 3 days in 1990 with Simon Wickham-Smith). However, his recent high point must be his bass playing duties in concert with Jandek.
