Walter Meego is the alter ego of three Chicago artists who have been consistently turning heads with their funky brand of mutant dance music.The group frequently performs DJ sets and bangin' electro rock shows around the Midwest.The collaborative essence of Walter Meego ignores pressures of answering, "is it rock or is it electronic?" and instead holds the soft focus of creating music that, in the words of the group, "is fun for all the people of the world." The artists in the group come from a variety of influences, but what they create always represents the synthesis of the band. 'Romantic' is Walter Meego's second single, and the first to be released on both CD and vinyl.The band has received high praise on blogs here and across the pond, and 'Romantic' is yet another step in it’s progressive writing style. The remixes by influential artists from the Netherlands, Chicago, and San Francisco will surely become favorites on the dance floor.
