2011, Quite Scientific
VINYL FORMAT. Clear vinyl; comes with a digital download code! The third album, Salt Year from Michigan folk scene figure Chris Bathgate was born out of a period of personal tumult. These songs are a battle cry for that time. After touring the world several times over, living life as a working musician, undergoing an intense period of self-criticism, Bathgate took four years to complete Salt Year, reemerging on the other side with a more realized version of his country-tinged gothic folk. It's that struggle that makes this album such a triumph.
