INSOUND EXCLUSIVE REISSUE! BACK IN PRINT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MORE THAN THIRTY YEARS.

VINYL FORMAT. Strictly limited to 1,000 copies! Lou Reed's Satellite of Love was originally released on RCA Records as a 7" exclusively in Europe way back in 1973, and NEVER in the US. This 7" features "Satellite of Love" - one of Reed's best known songs - originally recorded by The Velvet Underground during the Loaded sessions (though not released), and later included on Reed's 1972 Transformer album. It also features backing vocals by none other than DAVID BOWIE, who also co-produced the record! The B-side is "Vicious," the riff heavy opening track from Transformer.

Comes in a picture sleeve featuring the original artwork and repressed on premium wax using the master files. A highly limited release of an almost impossible to find classic - you won't get something like this anywhere else! An essential gem for any serious record collector's catalog. As a life-long fan of Lou Reed who didn't enter the world until the mid 80s, you could say I was pretty stoked to find out there would be a re-release of Satellite of Love. This is his best song for my taste, and the repressing is beautiful. A near exact copy of the original, you really can't go wrong with the purchase of this piece. A must for any Lou Reed fan and/or singles collector!
