2002, Tiger Style Records
VINYL FORMAT. New York City's Boss Hog was coming off a 1996 tour in support of their self-titled Geffen release when their drummer, Hollis Queens, met fellow drummer Martin Owens of Speedball Baby, and the two instantly conspired to form Lo-Hi. Two new members were added in 2001: guitarist and fellow Boss Hog alumnus Jens Jurgensen, and bassist-biochemist Justin Holub. Jens and Justin have added to the band's already-considerable charm and musical history, but more importantly, they have transformed Lo-Hi from a stripped- down, R&B-influenced novelty act to a full fledged rock & roll band.
Say It More is a gigantic step forward for the band as it expands Lo-Hi's garage punk roots into an eclectic mix of rock, punk, garage, soul and pop, all with the sass you have come to expect for these NY rock veterans.
