Graced with a melancholy, David Bowie-esque croon and a touch of theatricality in the vein of Antony and the Johnsons, alternative singer/songwriter Scott Matthew garnered some attention in the early 2000s thanks in large part to work on various high-profile soundtracks. Born in Australia, Matthew worked with a handful of bands before moving to Brooklyn, NY in the late '90s. Scott Matthew is one of the very few musicians who strips with his music, who dissects himself to reveal his very innards with great parsimony.
