RESTOCK! This Boston-based band is difficult to pigeon hole as their influences draw equally from indie rock, emo, pop and punk. The oftentimes potent vocals interweave with driving (and sometimes catchy) guitar chords to create a dizzying listening experience. Unlike most emo bands (which critics will lazily associate the band with), the Shyness Clinic has expanded the boundaries of the quiet/loud sweet/angsty formula to create a truly unique album which will make you think not only about how freakin' good the music is, but why a band this good has taken so long to get into your record player. This is their first full length, which follows up their debut 7" and split 7" of last year.
