Seabear

Although initially the solo project of Sindri Mßr Sigf·sson, Seabear had morphed into a seven-piece band by 2007, when the group made its full-length debut with Ghost That Carried Us Away. Sigf·sson filled his lineup with a number of fellow Icelandic songwriters -- Gudbj÷rg Hlin Gudmundsdottir, Ingibj÷rg Birgisd=ttir, Halld=r Ragnarsson, +rn Ingi -g·stsson, Kjartan Bragi Bjarnason, and S=ley Stefßnsd=ttir -- and the groupÆs hushed, folksy music began finding an international audience in 2008, when the song ôCat Pianoö was featured in an episode of Gossip Girl.
