Seabrook Powerplant is an addling attack of bodyblows and features the compositions of banjo/guitarist Brandon Seabrook. Consisting of brothers Brandon Seabrook on banjo/guitar and Jared Seabrook on drums, plus bassist Tom Blancarte, they bring a rich musical background of punk and jazz to their songs, which turn on a dime (to paraphrase their heroes; the Minutemen) from dark and atmospheric to spastic and joyful.
