The debut full-length offering from this Chicago band comprised of former members of Joan of Arc, Owls, Ghosts & Vodka, etc.). An emotional and energetic mix of unorthodox guitar riffs, fierce drumming, skronking and squelching Wurlitzer organ, and Tim Kinsella’s pointedly spit vocals. In 2003, members of Joan of Arc toured as a four-piece for several months, then returned to Chicago and decided to form Make Believe. This is their debut, recorded by Steve Albini. They've toured nationally with Hella, mewithoutyou, The Good Life, and The Paper Chase.
