1. Shoes is an American power pop rock band, formed in Zion, Illinois, in 1974 by brothers John Murphy and Jeff Murphy, and Gary Klebe and incorporating several different drummers over the years including Barry Shumaker, Skip Meyer, Ric Menck, John Richardson, and Jeff Hunter.
Albums include: Ignition (2012),Heads or Tails (1974), One in Versailles (1975), Bazooka (1975), Black Vinyl Shoes (1977), Present Tense (1979), Tongue Twister (1981), Silhouette (1984), Boomerang (1982), Shoes Best (1987), Stolen Wishes (1990), Propeller (1994), Fret Buzz (1995), As Is (1996) and Double Exposure (2007). Jeff Murphy also released a solo album called Cantilever in 2007.
