Gatefold vinyl reissue of Einstürzende Neubauten's Silence Is Sexy, originally released in 2000 by singer Blixa Bargeld and his band partners (N.U. Unruh, Alexander Hacke, Jochen Arbeit and Rudolf Moser): This double album utilizes the track Vinyl Format.
For the first time "Pelikanol," originally a bonus track with the 2000 release of the album, is available on vinyl. Einstürzende Neubauten discovered sounds beyond the pain barrier, the beauty of dissonance and the aesthetics of the scrapyard. Silence Is Sexy finally receives a long-awaited reissue on the band's own label, Potomak. It has doubtlessly remained the group's most complex work and the most fascinating in its evolution, a unique appearance in the history of German rock music.
