Simple Song

Saying that the past year has been a hectic one for Entrance is something of an understatement. After releasing a split 7" w/ Chicago/Louisville luminary Papa M, Entrance hit the road for two months with fellow journeyman Devendra Banhart. Upon the conclusion of this tour, Entrance's debut full length, "The Kingdom of Heaven Must Be Taken By Storm" was released. Receiving critical acclaim from publications as varied as Alternative Press and No Depression, the album made quite an impact on Chan Marshall, aka Cat Power, who asked Entrance to open her entire US and European tours. The fall of 2003 looks to be just as tumultuous, with Entrance embarking on yet another tour, this time with Papa M. "Simple Song" is meant to capture Entrance in a more similar fashion to his live performance, raw and intimate.
