Sistemados Pelo Crucifa

Crucificados Pelo Sistema was the name of that first album. It was recorded and mixed on the same day without much attention paid to professional recording & mixing techniques. Jão, RDP's current guitar player, played drums back then; he is the only member of the original line-up.

Back then, even people from the punk scene didn't know what the phrase 'HC music' meant. In those days, one of the most important ways to spread the word about the scene and new bands was by trading stuff in the mail. The Brazilian scene called the attention of many punk fans around the world, and this album is one of the better known records from the early trading days. Together with RDP, bands like Olho Seco, Cólera or Armaggedon, and the entire Brazilian scene from the early 80's became quite popular among the international punk community. Since their first album remains a classic and they enjoy playing those songs live today, they decided to RE-RECORD the entire album bringing it to the energy level of their live performances and up to speed sound quality wise. They asked metal/hardcore mix-warlord Billy Anderson (Logical Nonsense, Melvins, Neurosis) to mix it, for that extra umph.

This album includes 14 re-recordings from the original album, 2 re-recordings from the second album 'D.E.P. ( R.I.P.),' and a cover version from the pioneers of the punk rock in Portugal Aquidelrock.
