Slaraffenland's 'Meet and Greet' single is a sneak peek at their new album, We're On Your Side, to be released by Hometapes on September 15. Featuring an exclusive b-side track (from the album-recording session), colored vinyl, and art by Cody Hudson/Struggle Inc., this jewel will whet appetites for the followup to their critically-acclaimed 2007 album Private Cinema. Based in Copenhagen, Denmark, Slaraffenland expertly expands on the guitar-bass-drums standard with brass and woodwind instruments, various racket-makers, and transfixing gang vocals, creating a sound that conjures everything from free jazz to noise to melodious addictive rock. They toured North America with countrymen Efterklang last summer, rocked SXSW this spring, and will return for a US tour, coinciding with the new album release, this fall.
