Knife in the Water is a 5 member band from Austin, Texas. Austin ain't just their home, it's their cradle. They have become the protected darlings of an enormous music scene; curse this group in Austin and fists will fly. This single follows their self released full length that seems to be in a constant repress. These two songs are comfortable neighbors to the established sound of Knife in the Water. The band includes two vocalists, a farfisa organ, a slide guitar, drums, bass, and another guitar. Cormack McCarthy like stories, that seem distant to the players, float on a perfect country pop (light on the country). The A side looks just like the picture on the menu, but the B side is a beautiful almost accapella, with guitar and a tamborine. No doubt, this soiunds southern; this sounds good.
