Gone Faded (CD)
Gone Faded is Soft's debut album and the follow-up to the their acclaimed EP [2005]. These guys are based out of Brooklyn and have managed to create a truly infectious album.
"Taking the psychedelic pop of Manchester's finest, The Stone Roses, as a starting point, and incorporating the lush atmospherics favored by the shoegazers who supplanted them in the early 90's, Soft has condensed a five year era of British music into one seamless, signature sound"? PopMatters

| Not your typical Brooklyn/Silverlake cooler than thou fuzzfests that lack melody. Gone Faded really hits you after the 3rd listen, after that you will never get it out of your head. Really fantastic guitar work. | |

| Get a blur album or an actual stone roses album instead. These songs are poorly written and the vocals don't help at all. It has the technical makings of Manchester but lacks strong melodies and an original approach to rehashing a 20-year-old genre. Most notably it has NO SOUL! Good luck. | |
