VINYL FORMAT. 'You couldn't call this 12-track LP a T. Rex best-of, or a proper roundup of the band's British Top 30 singles, since it only spans the years 1972-1976. That leaves off all of the pre-1972 chart entries - not a trivial omission, since those songs include "Get It On," "Jeepster," "Hot Love," and "Ride a White Swan." Still, it does have all of the dozen T. Rex post-1971 hits that reached the Top 30 in the U.K., including such smashes as "Solid Gold Easy Action," "20th Century Boy," and "Telegram Sam." That material's been around in numerous formats, of course. If you want a reason to consider getting this no-nonsense compilation, then, you should factor in the 180-gram vinyl pressing and the gatefold sleeve.' - All Music Guide
