2005, Highpoint Lowlife Records
Competing for the longest combined artist/title/label name of the year, The Marcia Blaine School For Girls have curated a double-disc compilation of the finest new Scottish underground electronica titled Some Paths Lead Back Again, on the eminent Highpoint Lowlife Records. Glasgow's MBSFG have emerged from Scotland's burgeoning post-techno, experimental electronic scene as one of its strongest proponents, leaving behind them a trail of singles and compilation appearances on labels from Static Caravan to Benbecula, including Awkward Silence, Dalriada, Expanding, Struktur and Stuff Records. They have gate-crashed Sonar, played at the lab30 festival in Augsburg, and in the past year alone supported Isan, Jimmy Edgar, Yellotone, Joshua Treble, Mitchell Akiyama, Shadow Huntaz and Alias.
