VINYL FORMAT. The Adicts are an English punk rock band from Ipswich, Suffolk, England. They originated as Afterbirth & The Pinz in late 1975. They soon changed their name to The Adicts and became known for their distinctive Clockwork Orange droog image, which, along with their urgent, uptempo music and light-hearted lyrics, helped set them apart from other punk bands. In the 1980`s The Adicts went through some tough times, having to change their name for Television as the BBC found it offensive, The band then had a short spell under the name ADX just so they could get music played on the Radio. But the band has never stopped touring. The band still consists of all its original members. The music has developed into their own style using many different instruments and colors alike and they have stayed true to themselves and their beliefs.
