2009, Mississippi
VINYL FORMAT. Recorded by George Mitchell in 1978, this LP was originally released by the Southland label under the name "William Robertson," due to Cecil Barfield's superstitions and legitimate fears of the taxman, he insisted that it come out under a false name. Cecil was an unusual blues musician, giving each song it's own feel and rhythm. Another underrated American original. This is a co-release with Big Legal Mess Records.
