2005, Ghost of Monkshood
In Autumn of 2003 Chris McDaniel (Gaea Spore, Sinus Iridum) connected with Chase Spivey (Gaea Spore, Therogy, & The Jimmy Situation) to create freestyle, experimental music that they both enjoyed. After recording three full length albums in Chris' brother's apartment, they recruited Thom Proctor (Gaea Spore & The Algernon Corruthers Trio) on Keys, Sax & Percussion, Dorian Small (Tincture) on Bass and Brian Adair (Swill, The Drunken Masters, Ambassador Bill, The Dog Band) on Drums to form a live band. Ghost of Monkshood has been performing throughout Oklahoma since Spring 2004. After upgrading their home studio, they recorded and released their fourth LP Spider Through the Fog in Winter of 2004. Now they gleefully seek world domination in a seedy tavern near you...
