A split EP between expressive downtempo pilots SIGNALDRIFT and electronic post-rockers PULSE PROGRAMMING. Signaldrift begins with the cuts "Missive" and "Aurora"--the first a beautifully unfolding composition that features a chunky break along with electro-pop elements; the second an atmospheric late-nighter loaded with thick-as-molasses beat--followed by PP's "Protested in Particular," "Every Second of Cannibal Light is a Disappointment" and "Torn Between Beautiful Hair Flutters"--which move through techno dub, lively rhythms, and gorgeous sounds.
