Metronomic tinkering, dubbed out curtains of drums, burbling electronics, snaking bass lines, blown-out headphones, walls of audio graffiti. Modular Set moves beyond their sonic references to Tarentel, Derek Bailey, Volcano The Bear, Supersilent, This Heat, Jewelled Antlerisms, Stockhausen and Sonic Youth. The trio includes Colin Held, Dominic Cramp and Daniel Humphrey, who also provide sonic relief for Carla Bozulich, Ray's Vast Basement, Vulcanus 68, and Extreme Elvis.
