Stand in a Line

VINYL FORMAT. RUBIES are an extremely well connected female duo based in San Francisco. Lead singer Simone Rubi not only designed the artwork for Feist's critically acclaimed album The Reminder but also provides backing vocals both on the album and live at the American Grammy Awards in 2008. The European release of the new single "I Feel Electric" has already got rave reviews by Artrocker, I-DJ, and Metro amongst others and has been played by Radio 1, BBC 6 and XFM. Their music has been described as bedroom disco crossed with danceable folk and comparisons can be drawn with both Kings of Convenience and Whitest Boy Alive which is perhaps no coincidence as Elrik Glamebck Boe provides guest vocals on their debut album Explode From The Center (ucpoming). Includes the track "Stand In Line," along with a remix and instruntal version by Shinichi Osaway, along with a Phil Manley (Trans AM) remix of the hit "I Feel Electric."
