Starfuckers

1) With the Pink Triangles ascending over the horizon, the decadent wonderland of STARFUCKERS is born. Its sons, assembled from all corners of the globe, have been birthed from loins of the HOUSE OF FUN, and worship at the altar of Pump.

Ushering in a new age and vibrant ideology, the STARFUCKER DJs have played host to Sydney’s biggest and best parties and festivals, while still hanging their hats at the eternally infamous STARFUCKERS, every Saturday night at Club 77.

The increasingly ubiquitous brand has gone from strength to strength in an exponential explosion, earning its members a reputation as the most unique batch of misfits in the biz.

With a colourful and extensive music catalogue, notorious reputation for pumping theme parties and an intimidating amount of show-notches on its bedpost, the STARFUCKERS brand has very quickly become greater than the sum of its parts.

Its family; Mr. Disorder, Hookie, Trentertainment and Donnie Blood are the lifeblood of STARFUCKERS and the personality behind the brand. With an ever increasing catalogue of commercial releases, remix satire, and a relentless calendar of live shows, you won’t need to have your ear to the ground to keep up with STARFUCKERS.

2) Starfuckers was an Italian experimental post rock band active from the late 80s. They employed heavy use of electronic devices in addition to electric guitar. Considered to be an extreme deconstruction of Beefheart aesthetics in which most of the notes have been removed. In 2003 the band changed its name to Sinistri.

3) Starfuckers was a Danish rock band and a brief side project for Kim Larsen, the former lead singer of 70s rock band Gasolin'. Other members of Starfuckers were Stig Møller (ex-Steppeulvene), Thomas Grue, Jess Stæhr, ken gudman and Ole Frø.
They released one album, a live record titled Vogt dem for efterligninger in 1978. It was recorded just after Gasolin' split up, and consist of Larsen songs with one exception - a song by Møller. Rumour has it that certain instrumental parts had to be rerecorded in a studio, because the band was too drunk during the live performances that made up the recording. Larsen was credited as "assistent", Møller as "union man", Grue as "apprentice" Stæhr and Gudman as "trainees", and Frø as "boss".
