[1] A Washington, DC-area band formed in 1997. Starry Eyes was formed by ex-Velocity Girl members Sarah Shannon, Kelly Riles, and Jim Spellman, with drummer Nick Pellicciotto (Edsel, New Wet Kojak, etc.). The band released one EP, Starry Eyes on Radiopaque (1997) and disbanded shortly after it's release.
[2] The current moniker of upbeat pop duo Leif Pacemaker & Darenda Weaver, whose other projects have included such Seattle and Houston Texas stalwarts as (The Shy Ones, The Pop Machine, The Greatest Hits, and The Backalley Sluts.). Their poppy songs as influenced by many different genres that vary from Mod, British Invasion, & Girl Groups to Bubblegum, Power pop, & Traditional Country and are characterized by sweet boy-girl harmonies.
