As a solo artist under the name Southerly, he branded himself a dedicated DIY recording artist and unrelenting touring performer. Now, as a full band, Southerly carries on these traditions - as well as a dedication to beautiful, melodic, rhythmic tunes with heartfelt naked lyricism. Their new album, a fourteen-song masterpiece of indie music, could not possibly display this any better.
