2010, PPM Records
VINYL FORMAT. Eric Copeland is an experimental musician based in New York. He is a core member of Black Dice and forms half of the duo Terrestrial Tones with Animal Collective's Avey Tare. Eric has found his unique voice as a solo musician, and nowhere is that more apparent than on his new full length LP Strange Days. Strange Days is the third full length-ed Eric Copeland solo effort and it's a mind altering piece of work. Comprised as two tracks "Side A" (21:53) and "Side B" (13:15), it takes you on an intense journey with a barrage of samples, field recordings and new sounds that switch on you as soon as you get locked in. A fine compliment and progression to his previous solo records Hermaphrodite and Alien in a Garbage Dump that will end up leaving you exhausted and satisfied; play it loud! Also an established visual artist, this limited edition LP is packaged inside a silk screened cover designed by EC and limited to 500 copies. Not to be slept on.
