2004, Troubleman Unlimited
From Knoxville and Brooklyn, The Red Scare return with their second Troubleman full-length, "Strangers Die Everyday." Recorded once again by Don Zientara at Inner Ear studios, The Red Scare continue as one of the best hardcore bands around today. "Strangers Die Everyday" finds the group using slightly more melody and odd time signatures to expand their sound, while keeping their signature style and overwhelming power. Many have compared them to the "glory days" of the early 1990s when bands like Shotmaker, Heroin, Max Colby, or Sleepytime Trio prevailed. Picture a much louder, tighter, and more brutal version of the aforementioned bands, and you've got The Red Scare.
