Stuck-Ups

VINYL FORMAT!! Together for about two years through several lineup changes with the one constant being lead vocalist/guitarist, Tiffany, THE STUCK-UPS are a three-piece girl band from Seattle and adhere to the sort of formula that a lot of girl bands are fond of, sassy/snotty lyrics played to the tune of primitive punk. This is not to say that THE STUCK-UPS don't rock, because they most certainly do. They're playing on the idea that girls can look and sound cute and be sexy and wild at the same time and it seems to be working for them very well. THE STUCK-UPS sound is most reminiscent of the early days of punk and it is obvious they are doing it for fun and they count bands like the THE SLITS, KLEENEX, THE MO-DETTES and THEE HEADCOATEES among the girl bands that have influenced them the most. This, their debut album was recorded at egg studios in two separate sessions. The first produced by Johnny Fangster and the second by BILLY CHILDISH.
