'Lolita Storm is the new generation's answer to grrrl power. These U.K. bad girls formed in 1999 in the midst of burgeoning teen pop reign of Britney Spears and Ronan Keating. They were factory workers, waitresses, and teenage nightmares who were tired of such frilly soul-sapping, so they gave U.K. DJ Steve Lamacq a demo tape and the rest is history.
