Tarantism (MP3)
San Fransisco's SUBTONIX grace Troubleman with their debut LP/CD Tarantism. After the success of their self-released 7' and split 7' with GLASS CANDY AND THE SHATTERED THEATRE (tmu 041), they are ready to take over the world! Known for their outrageous live shows, and even more outrageous 'horror prom queen' costumes, SUBTONIX take a new approach to a tired genre. They are heavy on the keyboards and saxophone, and light on the guitars! Their sound is a blurry mixture of new wave, goth, and disco, creating a totally original sound. Troubleman has never heard anything like this! The group has been together for almost 3 years, and have toured the US twice, with only a 7' and some t-shirts to sell! One of the original members was Jenny, from ERASE ERRATA- but she left the band to do EE full time. This band is destined for greatness as well, and we hope you will enjoy this record as much as we enjoyed releasing it! Beware of SUBTONIX!
