Summer Burns

Alienated nowness banged out for love and bro-dom and drinks. Think half the monks, half the electric eels, playing half japanese's gear. New to the WYR? family, Tyvek -- Kevin (guitar/vox), Heath (guitar), Larry (bass/the law), and Matt (drums) -- hail from Detroit, MI; you can probably hear it in the music. Tyvek's songs are a product of trying to understand their city: the empty spaces, poisoned ground, burnt-out building shells. In spite of all that, Tyvek love the land, the city, the infrastructure, and the sound& the sound of turning it up and then having your friends turn it up too, until you're all wired into some cheap frequencies and feeling some real buzz in the air.
