Swan Dive
Duo Bill DeMain (guitar, vocals) and Molly Felder (vocals, percussion) formed Swan Dive in 1993 in Nashville, TN USA. Inspirations for their own music include The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Dusty Springfield, Burt Bacharach, Ennio Morricone, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Everything But The Girl, Rufus Wainwright.
Swan Dive has opened shows in the US for Norah Jones, Pernice Brothers, Jill Sobule, Jane Siberry and Sixpence None The Richer. The band has appeared on Late Night With Conan O'Brien. Their songs have been played on US TV programs such as Felicity and Pop Stars, and in the film National Lampoon's Gold Diggers.
Swan Dive has been notably successful in Japan, with four top 10 singles there, many television and radio appearances, videos on MTV and multi-city tours.
