Belltower is Bridgit DeCook. Bridgit DeCook is label friend, Illinoisemaker, Castanet, and righthand woman to Liz Janes live. Asthmatic Kitty is proud to support Bridgit in her musical efforts by sponsoring the release of her first recording. In the Spring of 2005, Bridgit and producer Chris Schlarb went into the studio to record four original songs and one drastically reworked cover of the Pet Shop Boys' 'Two Divided By Zero.' From the classic solo performance of DeCook's 'Deep Down' to the upright bass and electric slide guitar of 'Climbing Texas', Sweet Fruit is a brief hint at a flowering new voice.
