THE FLYING LUTTENBACHERS was formed by Weasel Walter in late 1991 and has featured a constantly shifting cast of musicians including Ken Vandermark (VANDERMARK 5, etc.), Fred Lonberg-Holm (PETER BROTZMANN TENTET, etc.), Hal Russell (NRG ENSEMBLE), Jeb Bishop (VANDERMARK 5, etc.).
