This is a tri-black colored TV on the Radio crew neck shirt. It was designed by Slow and Steady Wins the Race, and printed on American Apparel Tri-Blend Short Sleeve t-shirts in a limited edition of 360! On the heels of our 2009 Collection and driven by the same desire for impeccably designed, quality band apparel, Soundscreen Design approached five highly regarded design studios and fashion designers to create original designs for their choice of two inspiring, influential bands. The 2010 Collection features original designs, printed in limited quantities on American Apparel garments, features custom hang tags denoting designer and band.

About the Designer:
Slow and Steady Wins the Race is a conceptual clothing and accessory line that reinterprets the classical everyday wardrobe. Founded in 2002 by designer Mary Ping, it is built on the belief that high design can and should be accessible to all. The philosophy behind Slow and Steady Wins the Race breaks the rule that fashion must constantly change. The collections are seasonless and prove that good design elicits both an intellectual and emotional response that is ageless, cross-cultural, and boundless.

About the Band:
TV on the Radio spans numerous genres, reaching from post-punk to electro to soul and beyond. Drawing on influences from jazz, psychedelic rock and trip-hop, TV on the Radio creates a truly unique and captivating sound. Formed in 2001 in Brooklyn, the band includes Tunde Adebimpe (vocals, loops), David Andrew Sitek (guitars, keyboards, loops) and Kyp Malone (vocals, guitars, loops), along with Jaleel Bunton and Gerard Smith. Their fourth and most recent release, Dear Science (2008), received rave reviews from critics.
