Take The Chance

Debut EP from the San Diego band, The Sess. An impressive four-piece whose members are all experienced songwriters with their own styles, they count among their influences Brian Wilson, The Who, The Clash, The Kinks, and The Beatles. These influences show up in their music, as a spiritual reminder of the days when rock 'n' roll was both soulful and fun. The impressive thing about The Sess is that they manage to translate the power of that ole' time of rock 'n' roll into something that is fresh, new, and distinctly their own.
