VINYL FORMAT. Talk About Body is the debut album from Men, the new project from Le Tigre's JD Samson, feminist leader and gay icon. Men is a Brooklyn-based band and art/performance collective, where JD is joined by Ladybug Transistor's Michael O'Neill. Men focus on the energy of live performance and the radical potential of dance music. Their music speaks of issues such as wartime economies, sexual compromise, and the demand of liberties through lyrical content and an inventive, high energy stage show. Men started in 2007 as the DJ/production team of Le Tigre members JD Samson and Johanna Fateman. With Le Tigre on hiatus, the duo began to write songs, and they merged their efforts with JD's other project Hirsute. Now Johanna and artist Emily Roysdon contribute as writers, consultants and producers, as JD and Michael lead the Men charge.
