Telephantasm: A Retrospective (Super Deluxe Edition)

VINYL FORMAT. The SUPER DELUXE EDITION is limited to 5000 individually numbered copies, housed in a 12 1/2" x 12 1/2" x 1 1/2" hinged double slipcase box, and includes the following:

-Two twelve track CDs, including twelve tracks (five of which are previously unreleased) not available on the standard CD version.
-A 3xLP vinyl version of the expanded twenty-four track Telephantasm, on splatter colored vinyl (mastered by Bob Ludwig at Gateway Mastering).
-Soundgarden's first DVD collection, featuring twenty videos (thirteen previously unreleased).
-A set of four lithographs, and a lithograph reproduction of the Showbox Show poster.
-A twenty page book with liner notes by Kim Thayil and Jeff Gilbert, with rare and previously unreleased photos of the band.
-A panorama poster of full box art!



Soundgarden presents their first collection of music since 1996, Telephantasm. This career-spanning retrospective album includes never-before-heard unreleased track "Black Rain," a gem circa Badmotorfinger that was never completed during that session. It had been forgotten and almost lost until it was retrieved, re-arranged and finished by the newly attentive band along with an always allegiant set of producers; Terry Date, Stuart Hallerman and most actively Adam Kasper.
