The follow-up to Simian Mobile Disco's highly acclaimed 2007 debut, Attack Decay Sustain Release, Temporary Pleasure was recorded at the bands studio in east London throughout 2008 and 2009 when the band weren't busy touring their live show, DJing and producing other acts. As well as representing the best of UK dance music, the record contains some staggering pop anthems and features vocal contributions from Gruff Rhys (Super Furry Animals, Neon Neon etc), Chris Keating (Yeasayer), Jamie Lidell, Beth Ditto, Telepathe, and others. Recommended if you like Daft Punk, MSTRKRFT, Justice and LCD Soundsystem.
