2004, Tiger Style
#94 Seller of 2005! SPECIAL TWO-DISC REISSUE! Includes the album "That Much Further West," as well as a bonus disc featuring every track from the album recorded differently (demos, outtakes, live, etc.).
Like their first two records, Lucero's third album That Much Further West is built around the songwriting style of simple, heartfelt songs. The new album expands on the band's sound, giving the new songs more range and dynamics while preserving the trademark Lucero sound. The record was produced and mostly engineered by the band itself at their practice space in Memphis, Tennessee and contains a raw and urgent quality that was not present on the more-produced sounding "Tennessee," the band's previous full length. With each record, Lucero's sound has progressed and grown, each album allowing more of their influences to show through.
