'Proof that Chico Hamilton is still one of the hippest cats around -- as his music on this set provides the springboard for some wonderful remixes and remakes that sparkle with the best recent sides from much younger players! The album only features 7 tracks, but they're all really great -- warmly soulful numbers that take recent jazz recordings from Hamilton and expand on them slightly -- adding in some extra keyboards, bits of beats, and occasional vocals -- all in really great ways that are never gimmicky nor too remix-cold.
