VINYL FORMAT. Limited edition on 180 gram vinyl! As a young teenager growing up in Memphis, Tennessee, Booker T. Jones had the amazing talent to play a number of instruments… and he played them well, mastering them enough to land him work at the famous Stax Records label, while still attending high school! It was during this time that he met Steve Cropper and Al Jackson, and later formed the Stax wrecking crew known as Booker T. & the M.G.'s. This amazing quartet, after the addition of Donald Dunn, went on to record a treasure trove of rock, soul, and funk masterpieces, many of which have since landed a place in soul history.
The Best of Booker T. & the M.G.'s was compiled by the folks at Atlantic Records in 1968, and has been out of print for years until now. This is the first time The Best of has been released on 180 gram vinyl!
