Spastic guitar heaves over with droning organs and feverish screaming, in a recipe for throbbing fall-through-the-dancefloor arty {post-hardcore}. Very much in the vein of bands such as the Shortwave Channel and Camera Obscura, the Song of Zarathustra weave a sense of urgency and face-first rock into spacy and drone-like patterns. From the first organ chords that push into thrashy, spitting outbursts on the first non-intro track, Mess of Zero, attention is grabbed at full throttle, setting the highest tone for what is to come through the rest of the 12 tracks.
