2009, Northwest Royale
Conceived in the year 2000 in a small Oregon college town, Eugene’s Northwest Royale started out as a garage band that quickly turned into local favorites. After a few years of honing their skills, and a few lineup changes, they recorded their first album “Respect What Could Be A Problem” that put Royale at the top of the heap in the Northwest metal scene. ......but Northwest Royale had their sights set a bit higher than that.
The band left their mark on every stage from Salt Lake City’s “Burt’s Tiki Lounge” (one of their favorite places) to national venues, sharing the stage with the likes of Slayer, Rob Zombie, Killswitch Engage, Disturbed, Devil Driver and Testament. 2007 found Royale taking a long awaited and well deserved break from the road where they could get healthy, reacquaint themselves with their families, and more importantly, start work on their fourth album....and a monster of an album this will be.
Now, two years later, the long awaited album 4 The Bleeding Edge
